| febs AG in Germany (since 2001) and in Switzerland (since 2002) came into being following a management-buyout out of the sale of Winterthur International by the Credit Suisse Group to the XL Capital.
As former part of the Winterthur Insurance Group, the two febs sister companies in Germany and Switzerland disposed of an extensive and profound know-how in the area of creditor insurance, which from the beginning they were able to apply in the German, European and Swiss markets.
Since July 2005, febs AG Germany (in Münich/Haar) belongs to the French April Group and is now known under the name APRIL Financial Services AG.
febs AG in Switzerland is and remains an independent service company. Today it belongs to the market leaders in its field in Switzerland.
